IDSfit
Ver. 2.0, July 2005
Inverse estimation of soil hydraulic
parameters using outflow data obtained from tension disc
infiltrometers, water retention data, soil core water contents, and TDR
water contents. Also permits the separate fit of water retention data
using the van Genuchten relationship. Includes a Microsoft Windows
based graphical user interface with data entry forms, an extensive
Microsoft Windows Help file, example input files, and the 2-D water
flow and fitting routines written in FORTRAN. System Requirements: Windows 9x,
Me, 2000, or XP; 32 Mb RAM, 20 Mb free hard disk space. Recommended:
Pentium processor running at clock speeds greater than 1.5 GHz.

Main
Window:
Windows graphical user interface forms with multiple tabs facilitiate
easy navigation and entry of model and fitting parameters.

Data Entry Forms:
Seperate forms are used
for flexible data entry of disc infiltrometer and TDR data.

Graphical Ouput:
Plots of water and
pressure head are generated by the software.
